about department

The Department of Media aims to educate individuals who will create and shape the content of contemporary media. The Department offers its students the opportunity to produce in various environments, for online or offline media, using the latest technology. The Department of Media derives its academic power from its roots in the social sciences, and thus focuses on grasping the social, cultural and political aspects of new technologies from a critical viewpoint.
Drawn from the core disciplines of the social sciences and humanities, sociology, political science, philosophy and literature, the Department of Media’s two programs (Media and Communication, Television Reporting and Programming) train and educate individuals who will determine the structure of tomorrow's media world.
