Program Structure

The Nutrition and Dietetics Program will provide its students with an up-to-date education based on the basic principles of nutrition and dietetics.

The program aims to graduate students who are competent in nutritional concepts and theories; who can apply their knowledge in the fields of health, education and business; and who will ensure that sufficient and balanced nutrition awareness is established in society for the protection and development of health and the treatment of diseases.

In addition, scientific studies will be conducted in the fields of determining the nutritional status of the society; determining and evaluating problems and priorities; seeking, proposing and implementing solutions to improve the nutritional level of the country; determining and directing food and nutrition plans and policies; food analyses, determining the nutritional needs of different age groups, organizing and implementing diets specific to diseases, and managing and organizing food services in institutions providing mass catering services.
