Structure of online courses
Online courses are offered in 14 weeks of content using a variety of online learning activities. The plan for each course is shared with students at the beginning of the semester and the course content is displayed on a weekly basis. The courses consist of lecture notes presented as web pages, live lectures whose date and time are announced in advance, homework pages related to that week's topic and self-tests. On the first day of each week, notes, online tests, case studies, supplementary resources, and texts on the topics to be covered that week are made available to students.
Communication and Assessment in Online Courses
Communication in classes takes place through the 'Announcement Board'. Relevant academics and students post announcements that concern all students on this board. In the 'Forum' section, a discussion environment is created between students and academics on various topics and participants in the forum can reply to each other on the relevant topic. In the courses, students are evaluated in two areas. The first is the student's work throughout the semester and the other is the final exam. The work done during the semester includes assignments, projects, case studies, tests and online work, while the final exam is held at the end of the semester on the university campus.
