For Citizens of the Republic of Türkiye:

  • ALES | GRE | GMAT: ALES (Equiponderant-Quantitative) ≥ 55 | GRE > 149 | GMAT > 450
  • Foreign Language Proficiency | Foreign Language Exam: YDS / e-YDS / ÜDS / KPDS / YÖKDİL / e-YÖKDİL ≥ 60 | TOEFL IBT ≥ 75 | TOEFL CBT ≥ 155 | TOEFL PBT ≥ 470 İstanbul Bilgi University Language Proficiency Exam BİLET3 ≥ 70 BİLET3 – For detailed information about the English Exam, please click.
  • Grade Point Average: Undergraduate Program GPA ≥ 2.00 and above
  • Reference Letter: Two reference letters are required.
  • Portfolio: Applicants should submit a digital portfolio that presents their visual and written work and highlights their interests, skills, and inclinations.
  • Statement of Purpose: Statement of purpose is required as part of the application process.

  • Program Special Conditions: Applicants must present an undergraduate degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Design, Urban and Regional Planning, Industrial Design, or other undergraduate degrees in Design and Social Sciences.

Letter of Intent: Applicants must write a one-page letter of intent (approximately 1500 words, in English) explaining their reasons for applying to the program, their expectations, and their interests concerning the program.

Reference Letters: Applicants should submit two reference letters that provide a comprehensive assessment of the applicant's skills, character, and potential for success in the program.

Interview: After submitting all the required documents and completing the online application form, candidates will be invited to a face-to-face or online interview on an officially announced date.

Portfolios should be emailed to the Program Director, Program Assistant, and the Graduate Admissions Office before the interviews.
