Career Opportunities

Graduates can pursue roles as computational designers in architecture and design offices with advanced knowledge of parametric and algorithmic design. These professionals focus on generating innovative, data-driven designs and optimizing complex geometries using coding. They can work alongside engineers to develop cutting-edge, efficient systems.

Graduates can work as digital design and fabrication specialists in fabrication labs, maker spaces, or construction firms, where they oversee the production of complex architectural components using technologies such as 3D printing, CNC milling, laser cutting, and robotic arms. They contribute to creating designs, prototypes, and full-scale elements that traditional construction methods cannot easily achieve.

Graduates who focus on the integration of sustainability and fabrication can become sustainable design-build consultants. In this role, they advise architects, developers, and construction teams on eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient building systems, and the reduction of carbon footprints, sustaining BİLGİ’s mission of positive social impact.

Graduates can work in research institutions, universities, or specialized labs. This academic career path is ideal for those interested in contributing to the theoretical and experimental development of the field. To accomplish this path, there is an option to transfer to the thesis program of the same Institute.

Students of the program have the opportunity to work as administrative assistants at the Faculty of Architecture. Every year, administrative positions are opened for this purpose and the students can step into the heart of academia alongside the BİLGİ Faculty of Architecture team!
