İstanbul Bilgi University Accounting and Auditing Master's Program is preferred by professionals who are currently working in the fields of accounting, auditing\ and tax consultancy and by those who want to further their academic and professional careers in this field. Students currently enrolled in the program come from a variety of sectors such as auditing, tax consultancy and financial consultancy, banking and manufacturing.

İstanbul Bilgi University Accounting and Auditing Master's Program offers two types of master's degree options: thesis and non-thesis.

The course load of the non-thesis program consists of a total of 10 courses (4 core and 6 elective) and a final project. The course load of the program with thesis consists of a total of 7 courses (4 core and 3 elective) and 1 seminar course and a thesis. Elective courses allow students to specialize in areas of particular interest and are offered in a variety of areas such as financial statement analysis, managerial accounting, internal auditing, forensic accounting and fraud examination, application of International Financial Reporting Standards and advanced corporate reporting.

In order to graduate from the program, all core and elective courses must be passed, the graduation project or thesis must be completed successfully and the GPA must be at least 2.80. Students who successfully complete the courses must also successfully complete the graduation project or thesis before graduation. The aim of this project and thesis, which will be carried out under the supervision of a faculty member, is to develop the skills that the student has acquired throughout the program by using them in practice.

The duration of the Master's Program in Accounting and Auditing (non-thesis) is 2 semesters and the maximum duration is 3 semesters. The duration of the program with thesis is 4 semesters and the maximum duration is 6 semesters. In addition, the maximum time allowed to complete all courses in thesis programs is 4 semesters.

The duration of MSc in Accounting and Auditing Program is 3 semesters.

The courses are conducted entirely in Turkish and are held between 19:00 and 22:00 on weekdays and between 10:00-16:00 on Saturdays at santralistanbul Campus.
