The course load of the program is eight courses, which comprise four core courses and four elective courses. Students are expected to complete at least 21 credits and pass graduate seminar course before they proceed to thesis stage.

The language of instruction is English. 

Scholarships in the form of partial tuition-waivers are available for the Energy Systems Engineering MSc program. The amount of scholarship granted is determined based upon the number of applications and the personal qualifications (e.g. ALES or GRE score, English Level of Proficiency score, undergraduate GPA, etc.) of each candidate. Additionally, scholarships from industrial partners may also be granted, if available at the time of the application.

International students are granted a 20% discount on the course admission fee.
