The New International Sales Law of Turkey: CISG

The United Nations Convention on International Sale of Goods (“CISG”), which has been signed on 11 April 1980 in Vienna, has become part of Turkish Law upon entering into force on 1 August 2011. As of May 2012 78 countries are party to the CISG.

İstanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law is organizing a conference on 25 -26 May 2012 in order to present the CISG to the Turkish legal and commercial society. The speakers are professors and practitioners who are coming from different legal backgrounds and have been working in this field for a long time.

The conference will be held in English, simultaneous translation will be provided.

The participation to the conference is free of charge.
