Sectoral Lectures
Guest Lecturer
The “Guest Lecturer” practice carried out at our university serves as a bridge that aims to bring the business world and academia together. Within the scope of this practice, industry professionals, who are experts in their fields, attend the courses as guests and interact directly with the students. Guest lecturers both provide theoretical frameworks that enrich academic knowledge and share their practical experiences on real processes, problems and solution methods encountered in the business world. In this way, students increase their sectoral knowledge and gain awareness of current trends, practices and expectations that are essential in business life. In addition, by learning the sectoral reflections of the topics covered in the courses, they have the opportunity to make their future career planning in a more informed way. This practice creates an inspiring learning environment for students and enables professionals to contribute to academia by transferring their knowledge and experience to younger generations.
Branded Courses/ Sector on Campus
Sector on Campus
Initiated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, this innovative program aims to bring the sector and academia together at universities and provide students with important insights for the business world. Within the scope of the program, companies from different sectors directly transfer their knowledge and field experiences to students. In this way, students have the opportunity to combine the theoretical knowledge they acquire in the courses with concrete examples and practical applications in the business world.
Branded Courses
The Branded Course is an innovative education model realized in cooperation with leading institutions. These courses, which are especially designed for senior students, are added to the curriculum of faculties and aim to bring together academic knowledge and sectoral experience. The courses are conducted by senior managers of companies and professionals who are experts in their fields under the coordination of relevant academics.
During the 14-week course program, students have the opportunity to get to know the dynamics of the business world closely by addressing current practices, sectoral problems and solution methods under the guidance of industry professionals. In these courses, which are supported by academicians providing the theoretical background, company representatives help students gain field experience by presenting examples from real business processes.
The program shows students how theoretical knowledge is used in practice and enables them to develop competencies in line with the expectations of the business world. At the same time, it provides an opportunity to build a professional network between students and company representatives and helps students enter the business world as better equipped and more aware individuals upon graduation. In this way, university-industry cooperation is strengthened and a sustainable and future-oriented learning experience is created for students.
