10th İstanbul Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Pre-Moot

The event is organized with the contribution of the Istanbul Arbitration Centre, ICC YAF and Paksoy Law Firm. BİLGİ Faculty of Law proudly invites all teams to participate in the 10th Istanbul pre-moot.

Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (“Vis Moot") is an organization which fosters the study of international commercial law and arbitration for resolution of international business disputes through its application to a concrete problem of a client. This provides a unique training for law leaders of tomorrow in methods of alternative dispute resolution. 28th Vis Moot will be held this year virtually, instead of in Vienna. Prior to the Vis Moot various law schools and law firms organize national and international preliminary studies (“pre-moot”) for the purpose of preparing students in the best way for the Vis Moot. BİLGİ Faculty of Law is renowned for taking the lead for the Turkish universities for the past years. In order to better prepare the Turkish universities’ teams for the Vis Moot, BİLGİ Faculty of Law has been organizing the national pre-moot (“Istanbul Pre-Moot”) so far. This year, we proudly invite all Turkish and international teams to participate in the 10th Istanbul Pre-Moot. 

As arbitrators, we will welcome Prof. Yeşim M. Atamer, Prof. Ronald Brand, Prof. Petra Butler, Prof. Franco Ferrari, Prof. Pascal Pichonnaz, Prof. Franz Werro and many distinguished scholars and arbitration practitioners as well as a variety of teams from all around the world.
