FoB Talks: Leading with Purpose: Regenerative Models for a Resilient Future

Date: March 6, 2025 - Saturday

Time: 14:00

Place: santralistanbul Campus, E1-301

Speaker: Yasemin Kireç - CEO of Anadolu Meraları

The session will explore the transformative potential of regenerative agriculture, focusing on its impact on climate change and business sustainability. Topics will include how regenerative practices can reverse climate change, create resilient business models, and open new career paths in sustainable industries. The discussion will also examine how businesses can move beyond profit to build long-term resilience, the role of holistic management in strategic decision-making, and how regenerative principles can shape business, entrepreneurship, and leadership—providing a framework for building nature-aligned, socially responsible, and economically viable enterprises.

Yasemin Kireç is the CEO of Anadolu Meraları, a pioneering social enterprise in regenerative agriculture and business in Turkey. Born in 1982 in Istanbul, she studied sociology and anthropology. Her passion for ecology, natural systems, and regenerative living took root during her university years, growing alongside her corporate career. Seeking a deeper impact, she transitioned fully into the regenerative space in 2015, leaving corporate life to complete Holistic Management training at Anadolu Meraları’s practice site in Çanakkale. Since then, she has been at the forefront of regenerative business models, facilitating producer-consumer ecosystems, mentoring entrepreneurs, and designing educational programs that bridge ecological wisdom with modern enterprise. She has collaborated extensively with the Buğday Association and other organizations, leading initiatives that promote regenerative agriculture, ecological literacy, and community resilience. Her workshops and training programs cover a range of topics, including regenerative economy, urban and rural food systems, holistic land management, ecological living, and deep nature connection.

With a vision of scaling regenerative impact beyond agriculture, Yasemin works to integrate regenerative principles into business, entrepreneurship, and leadership, supporting individuals and organizations in building nature-aligned, socially responsible, and economically viable enterprises.
