İstanbul Bilgi University had arranged “Yaşar Kemal Honorary Day” events on November 12th of 2014 for the monumental component of Turkish and world literature Yaşal Kemal, and had given him an “Honorary Doctorate”.
The great author, who honored us by accepting the degree, passed away on February 28th of 2015. We wish to be honored by his name and cherish his memory in our institution by gathering once more, to give his name to the E-2 building on santralistanbul Campus.
All BİLGİ people are invited to the opening ceremony.
