BİLGİ Robotic Team has won the 3rd place in the Laureate Robotics Competition

BİLGİ Robotic Team has won the 3rd place in the 4th Edition of the Laureate Award for Excellence in Robotics Engineering, with their robot LAUTUS.

This year the final of the Competition was held in the City of Salvador, Brazil on May the 7th. The proud members of the BİLGİ Robotik Team are the 4th year students from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering: Barnas Kahramaner (Team Captain), Uluç Yıldız, Arda Tısık and Mert Demirhan.

This years subject was a Park Cleaning Robot. Thanks to the performance of LAUTUS during the competition, they came back with bronze medals, Certificates of Achievement and a check of 4,000 USD.

Prof. Ahmet Denker and Assist. Prof. Yeşim Öniz contributed to the event as the internal jury member and team leader respectively.
