The group including BİLGİ Sports Management student Tiber Uzunoğlu became 1st in Sport International
In the competition called "Sport International" that is organised in cooperation with JAMK University from Finland, The Hague University from Netherlands, SUNY Cortland University from the USA and İstanbul Bilgi University Sports Management departments, the group that Tiber Uzunoğlu (3rd grade student from Sports Management Department of our University) participated, ranked as first.
Four students from the department of sports management of our university participated in the competition, which took place with the participation of a total of 38 students from four partner universities in Jyvaskyla, Finland. Students searched for solutions to problems related to events such as Volvo Ocean Race, 2026 FIFA World Cup and ITU World Triathlon Series. As a result of presentations made after one week of intensive work, the winners were announced by the jury members. The group that our student Tiber Uzunoğlu participated, ranked as first.
In addition to the academic program, the social program was also intense and the students visited the Finnish Olympic Athletes and Research Center and watched the game between H.I.F.K. and T.P.S teams from the Finnish Ice Hockey 1st League. Next year, the competition will be held in the Netherlands hosted by Hague University.
