Vernal Workshops: Familiarity

İstanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of Architecture is organizing 'Vernal Workshops', which will bring together a number of key professionals and academics working in the realm of architecture, design and art. The program aims at fostering an interdisciplinary exchange and production within an international platform.

Planned to be a yearly event, this second instance of Vernal Workshops will be a five-day long program between 20-24 April, 2013 involving a number of interdisciplinary workshops for students of art, design and architecture. Based in the santralistanbul Campus of İstanbul Bilgi University, the workshops will be open and free of charge to the students of BİLGİ as well as applicants from all over Turkey. This year’s conceptual framework is defined as ‘Familiarity’.

Workshops will be conducted by architects, designers and academicians from design schools, offices and organizations such as Design Academy Eindhoven, Made in Şişhane, Welsh School of Architecture, Studio Amita Vikrant, Green Geometries Laboratory, The Home Project and Augmented Structures.
