Energy Policies in the aftermath of Paris agreement: Time for the energy conversion

‘Energy Policies in the Aftermath of Paris Agreement Panel’ hosted by Greenpeace Mediterranean, TEMA Foundation and WWF-Turkey was held on 2 March 2016 in Intercontinental Taksim Hotel. The objective of this panel was to provide a positive contribution on the discussions on energy transition in Turkey.

‘Energy Policies in the Aftermath of Paris Agreement Panel’ was moderated by Assos. Prof. Dr. Barıs Karapınar, Ceo of TEMA Foundation. Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Deputy of Director of Energy Affairs Nilgün Açıkalın, Deputy Executive Director of Agora Energiewende Markus Steigenberger, Chairman of the Board International Solar Energy Society Turkey Section Dr. Kemal Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board Turkey Wind Energy Association Mustafa Serdar Ataseven were participated as panellists, Head of the İstanbul Bilgi University Energy Systems Engineering Department Prof. Dr. Ali Nezihi Bilge was participated as commentator and listener.
