Emeritus Professor Haluk Şahin rewarded with 2018 Homeros Science and Art Prize.

The traditional Homeros Prize, attributed during the yearly Troia Festival, to people having achieved important deeds in sciences or art domain, has been conveyed to our Emeritus Professor Haluk Şahin this year. The Prize recompenses Professor Şahin’s 17-years long “Day of the Poet and Homeros Readings” activities organised in Bozcaada (Tenedos). The Prize holders in previous years have been important intellectuals, writers and artists as Yaşar Kemal, Yıldız Kenter, Cevat Çapan or Nuri Bilge Ceylan.

The Award Ceremony will take place on August 10, 2018 in Troia archeological site.
